I'm a 42 year old stage 4, metastatic breast cancer thriver and have recently fallen back in love with embroidery. I love that there is always more to learn, working with a wide variety of threads, color, texture, and the possibility of endless creativity. I'm currently can't get enough of Rebecca Ringquist's samplers. I also love all textiles and fabrics: vintage, antique, global, etc. I hope to get into quilting as well. Dropcloth Samplers brought me to Creativebug, but I'm so impressed with the variety of high quality teachers here, many of whom I've been following for years. I can't wait to take all of the classes.
