Her signature marbled effect looks complex to make, but all you need is satin stitch and a bit of time. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Purchase a kit with everything you need here
- Class PDF with tracing template, color guide, and section guide
- One 7" square piece of neutral-colored fabric (linen-cotton blend)
- 4" embroidery hoop
- Size 22 tapestry needle
- Embroidery floss (Lauren uses DMC brand ) - see color guide for advice on choosing your 22 shades
- Light pad, light box, or sunlit window for tracing pattern (Lauren uses a Cricut light pad)
- Pilot Frixion erasable ballpoint pen (erasable with a heat gun, embossing heat tool, or hair dryer)
- Fabric shears and small scissors

Even though I've been embroidering since I was a child, I did pick up some tips. Instructor was very good and had a nice voice to listen to.
