This is a fabulous class. Katia Ferris is engaging and her tutorial is absolutely flawless. The camera angles and lighting make it so easy to follow along. And Katia gives tons of helpful little "tricks" along the way. Sewing this little mouse was a delightful experience. I can't wait to give it to my granddaughter!

Overall, I found this really enjoyable. The presenter was lovely. I enjoyed the up close visuals. I liked the sewing tips. I will be going through the videos again when I start my second mouse because I know I missed some things. I would recommend maybe watching the videos in each section first to get the overview. Some details were a bit unclear until later. One thing I may have missed but did see in a later video was to turn the ends of the straps in first before folding the long edges. I believe that making the mouse will teach me anything that was missed, but I found a couple of things frustrating. They were not impossible to figure out, but a bit of a set back. The bib was confusing as the pattern does have one with a sewing allowance around it. I cut out the recommended rectangle as well as the bib from the pattern. When I folded the rectangle in half, the dimensions did not seem to be correct. I have fixed this myself, but it might cause confusion. The other thing I found a bit confusing. The ears on the pattern seem to have lost the square edge mentioned by the designer. That can be rectified without too much problem I'm sure.
In general, I was so delighted to finally complete a project like this. It brought me a lot of joy and made me realize the therapeutic effect creating a little friend like this can have.

Hi Cynthia, Thank you for your feedback! The overalls pattern has been resized and the correct version is available for download so the bib piece should fit perfectly on that 2"x3" fabric piece. As for the ears, the square edge is extremely small, like less than 3 cm, which is just enough to allow the circle to lay flat on the mouse's head, ensuring the seams are fully closed. You are welcome to make these stitches a bit longer but it might change the roundness of the ears. Thanks for taking this class and we're so glad you're enjoying your little friends!
