The tiniest beads can make a big statement when you weave them into an eye-catching badge. After artist Lisa Solomon made and wore a beaded pin that said BOOKS, everone asked her about it and wanted to learn how to make their own. In this class, Lisa teaches you how to weave seed beads into rectangular badges and charms using a square stitch and a peyote stitch. She provides templates for her designs, but you'll discover how fun and easy it is to design your own. You'll also learn how to attach different jewelry findings to your beaded charms so that you can turn them into necklaces, earrings, or pins. By the end of class, you can use your newfound beading skills to generate words and images that reflect what's important to you.
