Heidi is a wonderful and generous teacher. Her creativity is boundless and inspiaring. I am using het teachings to make two quilts for both of my children.

I am so in love with this process and Heidi's way of teaching and expression.  So much fun to make.  I'm not quite done but will post once it is completed.

An absolute joy to watch. Look forward to creating my own quilt now.

Ms Parkes is a skilled educator; her teaching is detailed and  each stitch and technique well illustrated. What is even more interesting is the meaning making you can extract from each prompt as you adapt these to your own stitched storytelling. The hand stitching is not burdonned by rules other than a basic understanding of how to attach cloth together.  Basic embroidery stitching is punctuated by very useful hand & arm yoga exercises. The only missing part is a better presentation of the "quilting sandwich" that is necessary before binding and quilting.
An enjoyable process led making experience.
