I am a novice so may be wrong but I think “vanishing point” was not discussed properly, or at all. The dot on the tree and the clock were explained as part of the “viewpoint”, which I think are the figure’s eyes and the top of the chair. But the concept of Vanishing Point was completely overlooked and kind of made the whole thing incomplete and confusing.
